PART-TIME OFFICE ASSISTANT--Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Responsible to Executive Director and Office Manager. The office assistant performs secretarial and general office duties, including clerical services.Customer service a priority. The office assistant will prepare drafts and final copy of correspondence, minutes, reports and similar materials. He or she will help remind committee and board members of meetings and send meeting packets to members when necessary.  The office assistant will have extensive contact with business leaders and the general public by phone, fax, e-mail and in person and should attend all Chamber functions that time and circumstance allow. He or she will have extensive contact with all Chamber staff members as well. He or she will supervise stock control and office services, including website maintenance. Database activities include maintaining membership and Chamber committee information. The office assistant must be able to work autonomously and independently to manage these responsibilities. These responsibilities also include performing any other activities deemed necessary for the good of the Chamber organization.
